Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2022, Volume 16, Issue 5,   Pages 745-754 doi: 10.1007/s11705-021-2038-x

Abstract: Different contents of CaCO3 nanoparticles were doped into the solution of polysulfone-betched away by hydrochloric acid and the spaces initially occupied by CaCO3 provided extraThe porosity of the membranes was increased with increasing CaCO3 content up to 41%, but furtherincrease in the CaCO3 content led to partial collapse of the membrane. The sacrificial CaCO3 particles provided extra pores and enhanced the connectivity between

FOXP3 and Its Cofactors as Targets of Immunotherapies Review

Yasuhiro Nagai,Lian Lam,Mark I. Greene,Hongtao Zhang

Engineering 2019, Volume 5, Issue 1,   Pages 115-121 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2019.01.001

Abstract:

Forkhead box P3 (FOXP3) is a "master regulator" of regulatory T cells (Tregs), which areAs a consequence, the PTMs change the stability of FOXP3 and its capability to regulate gene expressionAlthough FOXP3 per se is not an ideal drug target, deacetylases, acetyltransferases, kinases, and other enzymes that regulate the PTMs of FOXP3 are potential targets to modulate FOXP3 and TregFOXP3" side effects must be considered when inhibitors to these enzymes are used.

Haploinsufficiency of Lipin3 leads to hypertriglyceridemia and obesity by disrupting the expression and

Frontiers of Medicine doi: 10.1007/s11684-023-1003-0

Abstract: However, little is known about the function of Lipin3 in triglyceride (TG) metabolism.Hence, we generated Lipin3 heterozygous knockout (Lipin3-heKO) mice and cultured primary hepatocytesto explore the pathophysiological roles of Lipin3 in TG metabolism. Our study suggested that Lipin3 was a novel disease-causing gene inducing obesity and HTG.We also established a relationship between Lipin3 and mitochondrial dysfunction.
